Many see the Muna as guardians of nature, maintaining the delicate balance between humanity and the environment while others regard them as hermits lost in the contemplation of the world around them. The fact is that few people have such a strong bond with the biomes they live in, be it dense forests or vibrant coastlines. If they were to describe themselves, the Muna would describe themselves primarily as practitioners of harmony, both within ecosystems and within themselves. Their understanding of the Skein, the network of energy that connects all things and beings, enables them detect potential instabilities and subtle variations within this network. If representatives, ambassadors and guardians of the wild ways, they use diplomacy, wisdom and sometimes violence to ensure that everyone thrives with respect for others.
