Kickstarter Edition

Altered is the most successful Kickstarter TCG campaign ever. This is accompanied by a special Kickstarter editions of the boosters from the first set. All cards receive a special Kickstarter logo on the bottom left card making them recognizable as First Edition versions of that card. In addition, this one contains: boosters, more rare cards, foilers (more about this on the product page) and special versions of Cards. The Kickstarter products are available one month earlier than the regular release.

A Kickstarter Edition Altered booster has a lot of extras compared to a regular Altered booster. In addition, the boosters are also available much earlier. The Kickstarter Edition includes one anyway extra card (50% common, 50% rare) and Foil Hero cards. The chance of unique cards is 1 in 1 8 boosters 1 in 6 and you also have a chance to win special promo and mana cards that are not available in the regular boosters. In addition, one in 250 boosters is a Golden Booster with 10 unique cards and 4 unique foilers.

In a regular Altered booster you can expect the following:

1 Token (75%) or Foiler (25%) card
1 non-foil Hero card
8 Common cards
3 Rare cards
1 Unique card replaces a Rare in 1 in 8 boosters.

In a Kickstarter Edition Altered booster you will find the following extras:

1 Token (33.33%) or Foiler (50%) or Mana (16.7%) card
1 Foil Hero card
7 Common cards
2 Common (50%) or Rare (50%) card
2 Weird card
1 Rare (98.6%) or Promo 2023 (1.4%) card
1 Unique card replaces a Rare in 1 in 6 boosters.
1 Alternate art card replaces a regular card (common, rare or unique).

Alternative art

The Kickstarter Edition products have special packaging. Also, one of the cards in the booster an alternate art compared to the regular art. These alternate art cards are exclusive to the Kickstarter edition and are therefore not available in the regular boosters. Each card from boosters has a Kickstarter logo on the bottom left of the card that identifies the cards recognizable as the very first edition of the game.

Kickstarter Display Beyond the Gates

A Kickstarter Display from Beyond the Gates has, as mentioned, alternative packaging. That's not just for beauty, but each display also contains an extra booster! So you receive all the advantages of a Kickstarter booster compared to a regular booster not 36, but even 37 times in your display!
