Lyra

Wandering, story-tellers and artists in many forms, Lyra members continually strive transcendence and the sublime. Their uninhibited creativity touches the soul of those they meet, and every interaction feeds them. Although some see them as temperamental and emotional, they do not realize this is true their strength is a source from which they continually draw. As heirs of the original post-confluence nomads, they adapted to the Tumult and see it as a source of creative potential. The Lyra Clans understood during their travels probably the true character of the Tumult: not a danger, but an opportunity to seize, of which the beauty arose from its changeable, ephemeral and tumultuous nature. Always looking for unique encounters, the Lyra live to feel and experience the world through their senses, hoping for transformation – both of themselves and of others.

The Ouroboros

The Ouroboros, one of nine nomadic Sahanka towns that criss-cross the peninsula, serves as bastion for the Kasirga, one of the nine Lyra clans. This flying ship, made of aerolite, is located located in the center of a ring depicting a spinning snake. It houses almost 1,000 travelers are used to life at high altitude. Their houses are built around a core of levitation stone, with a fixed ship-shaped frame. Inside there is a maze of ladders, stairs, platforms, beams and walkways, which together form an entire city with monuments, a town hall, hanging urban centers and more. Just like flocks of migratory birds accompanying this immense floating caravan, the Kasirga clan members have learned to master the aerial lifestyle, with many excelling in acrobatics, aerobatics and balance exercises.
